Martha Melinda Flannery Conn born 5/23/1885 in elliott county ky to reece bowling flannery and martha dickenson , she had 2 brothers tillman,,nathin,and 3.sisters maggie,lizzy.and sara.she married christofor levi conn they made their home in bath co. ky a place called mudlick they had ten children.she went home to be with the lord 12/ 28/ 1968.
martha melinda flannery conn 83 wife of lee conn died at 5pm sat.at her home after a long illness. she was a member of the church of God.survivors include 5 daughters mrs. ada hunt mrs rushia jewell, mrs. ruth helton of salt lick ky,mrs ethel basford or morehead ky and mrs bert crisp of valparaiso ind. 5 sons oscar conn owingsville ky, emil, clark and jesse of salt lick ky, and sidney conn of hobart ind. a brother tillman flannery a sister elizabeth dehart greenup co. ky 59 grandchildren, 79 great grand children and 5 great great grandchildren services conducted 2:30 pm at salt lick church of God by the reverend claudell goodpasture burial in polksville cemetary by powell and son funeral home.Thanks to Patti Conn for the photo
