John Stevens

John Stevens was born 1563-1575 in Caversham, Oxford, England. He died about 1627. John married Alice Atkins February 27, 1596 in Caversham.

Alice was born about 1575 in England. She apparently immigrated to America with daughter Barbara and son John on the ship Confidence, sailing from Southhampton, England on April 24, 1638. Alice died July 17, 1650 Essex County, Mass. Her father might have been John Atkins.

Alice and John Stevens had five known children: Jane (1601), John (1605), Barbara (1611), William (1616), and Susan (1617).
