Mercy Camp

Mercy was born about 1646 in Milford, New Haven County, Connecticut, the daughter of Edward Camp and Mary Canfield. She was christened in 1652 in Milford.

She married Josiah Baldwin, son of John Baldwin and Mary Camp, June 25, 1667 in Milford. Mercy and Josiah are said to have had seven children: Sarah (1668), Mary (1670), Elizabeth (1672), Samuel (1674/75, Josiah (1677/78), Remember  (1678/79) and Abigail (ca 1700).

Mercy may have died January 28, 1674 or about 1702. If the 1674 date is correct, she is not the mother of Josiah's four youngest children, including Remember.
