Fancis Moore

Francis Moore, son of Enoch and Catherine Moore, was born about 1586 in England, age given on gravestone at death was 85. He died August 20, 1671 in Massachusetts. The family immigrated to Newbury, Essex County, Massachusetts about 1635. He took the oath of freeman May 22, 1639.

Francis Moore married Catherine Monford. Catherine died December 28, 1648 and is buried in Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts. Children of Francis and Catherine Monford Moore were Francis, Goldin, Samuel, Thomas, Anna, Sarah, John, Hannah and Matthew. A Samuel Moore married Mary Isley, but there is no evidence to prove Mary's husband is the son of Francis and Catherine Monford Moore.
