BELLVILLE: Carol Ann "Cookie" Wolf, 60, of Rule Road, Bellville, died Friday morning April 5, 2002 in the Clinical Center at The National Institutes of Health, Bethesda, Maryland, following a long illness.
She was born December 7, 1941 in Mansfield to Emery Dale and Maribelle (Coleman) Crownover, was graduated from Madison High School in 1960, and remained a lifelong Mansfield area resident.

Carol had worked ten years as scanning coordinator with Frank's Supermarket in Lexington, and later worked ten years as an office assistant with Containercraft in Lexington.

She was a member of William O. Naylor Post #43 AMVETS Auxiliary in Bellville.

An avid flower gardener, Carol enjoyed cooking and campfires, and lavishing time on her family.

She is survived by her husband Terrence "Terry" Wolf, whom she married November 27, 1960; three children and their spouses Brian B. and Kathy Wolf of Mansfield, Craig A. and Leslie Wolf of Cincinnati, and T. J. Wolf and Wende Carter of Oakland, California; four grandchildren Brittany Wolf, Emily Wolf, Dane Wolf and Eli Wolf; a brother Denny Crownover of Atlanta, Georgia; and a brother and sister-in-law Kevin and Julie Maxwell of Mansfield.

She was preceded in death by her father Emery Crownover, her mother Maribelle Crownover Maxwell; her father-in-law and mother-in-law Elvin and Mary Wolf; and a sister-in-law Nancy Wolf.

Friends may call Wednesday April 10, 2002 from 5-8 pm in the Bellville Snyder Funeral Home, where the funeral service will be held Thursday at 10:30 am. The Rev. Dr. George Spink will officiate. Interment will be in Mansfield Memorial Park.

Memorial contributions to Jefferson Township-Bellville Fire Department may be made at the funeral home.
