      Abraham Houghtelin was born on 4-Oct-1756. He was the son of Hezekiah Houghtaling and Maria De Graaf. Abraham married Janitie Cowenover, daughter of John Cownover and Catherine Coevert, in May-1809. Abraham Houghtelin died on 15-Jan-1821 at age 64. Abraham was buried after 15-Jan-1821 at "Lower" Dutch Reformed Churchyard, Conewago, York now Adams County, Pennsylvania; in an unmarked grave.
     He was also known as Abraham Houghtaling. He a private in Capt. John Chums Company, Col Vandenberg's Regiment of Dutchess County, NY on 25-Sep-1778 at Dutchess County, New York.

      Maria Houghtelin was born on 7-Aug-1810. She was the daughter of Abraham Houghtelin and Janitie Cowenover. Maria married Daniel Diehl on 1-Mar-1832. Maria married Ulery J. Reever on 2-Nov-1840.
     Maria Houghtelin was also known as Mariah Houghtelin.

      Daniel Diehl was born on 9-Jan-1807. Daniel married Maria Houghtelin, daughter of Abraham Houghtelin and Janitie Cowenover, on 1-Mar-1832. Daniel Diehl died on 26-Apr-1837 at age 30.

      John C. Houghtelin was born on 20-Mar-1812 at Adams County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Abraham Houghtelin and Janitie Cowenover. John married Eliza Diehl, daughter of Jacob Diehl and Christina Dierdorff Bosserman, on 5-Feb-1835; by Rev.David Eiker, who was a German Baptist minister. John C. Houghtelin died on 10-Mar-1856 at age 43.

      Catherine Houghtelin was born on 25-Dec-1814. She was the daughter of Abraham Houghtelin and Janitie Cowenover. Catherine married Adam Wert on 24-Mar-1840. Catherine Houghtelin died on 6-Jul-1899 at age 84. Catherine was buried after 6-Jul-1899 at Evergreen Cemetery.
     She was also known as Catharine Houghtelin.

     David Cowenover was the son of John Cowenover and Polly Chamberlain.

      Margaret S. Cowenover was born at Of, Mountjoy Twp., York now Adams County, Pennsylvania. She was born on 3-Jul-1818 at Cashtown, Adams County, Pennsylvania. Margaret married John Bushman, son of Henry Bushman and Mary Magdaine Eberly, on 30-Dec-1841 at York now Adams County, Pennsylvania. Margaret S. Cowenover died on 19-Feb-1875 at Cashtown, Adams County, Pennsylvania, at age 56.
      Probably a grand daugheter of eigher John or Cornelius Cownover.

      John Bushman was born on 23-Oct-1810 at Cashtown, Adams County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Henry Bushman and Mary Magdaine Eberly. John married Margaret S. Cowenover on 30-Dec-1841 at York now Adams County, Pennsylvania. John Bushman died on 29-Aug-1893 at age 82.

John Allen McMahan on 28-Feb-1843 at Owen County, Indiana. Eliza Jane Conover died on 5-Dec-1899 at Gainsville, Alachua County, Florida, at age 79.
     She was also known as Eliza Cownover. She was also known as Eliza Conover.

      David W. Conover was born on 6-Jun-1824 at York now Adams County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Garret Cownover and Susannah Monteith. David married Hannah Elizabeth Ross, daughter of Jospeh B. Ross and Hannah Piercy, on 11-Jan-1848 at Cloverdale, Putnam County, Indiana. David married Minerva Cochran Ross, daughter of Jospeh B. Ross and Hannah Piercy, on 25-Dec-1851 at Cloverdale, Putnam County, Indiana. David W. Conover died on 5-Apr-1904 at Terre Haute, Vigo County, Indiana, at age 79.

      Isaiah Conover was born on 12-Sep-1826 at York now Adams County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Garret Cownover and Susannah Monteith. Isaiah married Indiana Logan on 20-Apr-1854 at Owen County, Indiana. Isaiah Conover died on 26-Nov-1902 at Gosport, Indiana, at age 76.

      Miles T. Conover was born on 29-Dec-1837 at near, Gosport, Owen County, Indiana. He was the son of Garret Cownover and Susannah Monteith. Miles married Sarah E. Lewman on 17-Dec-1872; no issue by this marriage. Miles T. Conover died on 6-Mar-1898 at Owen County, Indiana, at age 60; of Bright's disease.
     He resided at at farm, Prather, Indiana.

      Letitia Thomas was born on 28-May-1827 at Somerset County, Kentucky. Letitia married James Conover, son of Garret Cownover and Susannah Monteith, on 4-Nov-1847. Letitia Thomas died on 8-Mar-1884 at age 56.
