      Harry F. Murphy was born on 15-May-1865 at Murphy's Crossing, New Jersey. Harry married Ida Jane Conover, daughter of Nicholas Van Sant Conover Sr. and Ann Elizabeth Cordery. Harry F. Murphy died on 7-Nov-1942 at Hammonton, Atlantic County, New Jersey, at age 77.

      Viola Catherine Murphy was born on 9-Mar-1894 at Murphy's Crossing, New Jersey. She was the daughter of Harry F. Murphy and Ida Jane Conover. Viola married William T. Losse, son of Phillip Losse and Josephine Grabe, on 28-Apr-1915 at Hammonton, Atlantic County, New Jersey. Viola Catherine Murphy died in Jan-1984 at Williamstown, Gloucester County, New Jersey, at age 89.

      William T. Losse was born on 10-Sep-1880 at Pennsylvania. He was the son of Phillip Losse and Josephine Grabe. William married Viola Catherine Murphy, daughter of Harry F. Murphy and Ida Jane Conover, on 28-Apr-1915 at Hammonton, Atlantic County, New Jersey. William T. Losse died on 12-Jun-1972 at Hammonton, Atlantic County, New Jersey, at age 91.

      James Harold Cochran was born on 22-Oct-1923 at Paris, Lamar County, Texas. He died on 3-Mar-1982 at Hammonton, Atlantic County, New Jersey, at age 58.

      John Spader was born on 30-Apr-1736 at Somerset County, New Jersey. John married Anne Suydam on 17-Jan-1763. John married Jane Vanderbilt on 19-Sep-1778. John Spader died on 11-May-1796 at Middlebush, Somerset County, New Jersey, at age 60.
     He was also known as Johannes Spader. The Inventory of John Spader was taken on 25-Jun-1796 at Middlebush, Somerset County, New Jersey.

Peter's father, had married (1st) to Ann Suydam, daughter of Jacob Suydam, in 1763 when he was 27 years old, and she 23. From this union 3 children were born: William Spader (1763), Ann Spader (1766), and John Spader III (1775). Ann died giving birth to their youngest son, passing two days after his birth, at age 35.

The young widower then devoted his life to the patriot cause, serving with credit for 7 years in the Revolutionary War alongside his son, William, who was still in his teens at the start of the conflict. When Lord Howe's army was retreating from Millstone to New Brunswick in 1777 the barn and out buildings and part of the house of John Spader were destroyed by fire by the British army.

Following the war, both of John's sons did a reverse migration leaving Somerset County for Brooklyn, NY, ancestral home of many of their Dutch forebearers. Both William and John married, and established families in New York that remained for generations to come. William married Annie Vanderbilt, daughter of Jeremiah Vanderbilt & Antje Ryerson of Wallabout, Bergen County. His grandson, William Spader (1817-1891), son John L. Spader, would leave New York for the fertile farmlands of Monmouth County, NJ and later became a respected Judge in Matawan, NJ marrying (1st) Sarah Schenck and (2nd) Mary L. Whitlock.

In 1778, the 42-year old widower John Spader took as his (2nd) wife, 42-year old Jane Vanderbilt of Somerset County. To the surprise of the couple, and no doubt to their neighbors, they would become parents some 7 years later to Peter Vanderbilt Spader, born in 1785 when they were both aged 49.

Peter's father died in 1796 when he was 11 years old. He and his mother remained on the farm, which even after John's death, was a hub of activity for politics and local government in Middlebush.

      Jane Vanderbilt was born circa 1736. Jane married John Spader on 19-Sep-1778. Jane Vanderbilt died on 27-May-1810.

      Anne Suydam was born on 23-May-1740. Anne married John Spader on 17-Jan-1763. Anne Suydam died on 6-Mar-1775 at age 34.
     She was also known as Antenette Suydam. She was also known as Antje Suydam.

      Maria Quick was born circa 1730. Maria married Samuel Gulick.

      Samuel Gulick was born in 1728. Samuel married Maria Quick. Samuel's estate was proved on 7-May-1798.
     Samuel's left a will on 15-Jan-1798 at Eastern Precinct, Somerset County, New Jersey.

     Isaac Gulick was baptized on 3-Apr-1762. He was the son of Samuel Gulick and Maria Quick. Isaac married Helena Hoagland, daughter of Christopher Hoagland and Sarah Van Voorhees. Isaac Gulick died on 21-Aug-1849 at Six Mile Run, Somerset County, New Jersey, at age 87.

      Helena Hoagland was born in 1766. She was baptized on 14-Sep-1766 at Dutch Reformed Church, Six Mile Run, Somerset County, New Jersey. She was the daughter of Christopher Hoagland and Sarah Van Voorhees. Helena married Isaac Gulick, son of Samuel Gulick and Maria Quick. Helena Hoagland died in 1842.
     She was also known as Lenah Hoagland.

     Robert married Nellie Genevieve Conover, daughter of Ulysses Grant Conover and Addie Marsh, on 4-Jun-1925.

     Ava married Herschel Waldo Conover, son of Ulysses Grant Conover and Addie Marsh, on 30-Apr-1927.

      Samuel Heratio Conover was born on 1-Jun-1903. He was the son of Ulysses Grant Conover and Addie Marsh. Samuel married Mabel Brinkman on 17-Aug-1929. Samuel Heratio Conover died on 29-Jun-1969 at age 66. Samuel was buried after 29-Jun-1969 at Myers Cemetery, Clermont County, Ohio.

     Mabel married Samuel Heratio Conover, son of Ulysses Grant Conover and Addie Marsh, on 17-Aug-1929.

     Thomas H. Conover was the son of Howard Roosevelt Conover.

     John married Martha Patsy Snodgrass.

     Martha married John Milton McBroom.

      John Andrew McBroom was born on 8-Sep-1843 at Indiana. He was the son of Elam McBroom and Margaret Ann Ainsworth. John married Francenia Rowland, daughter of Thomas Rowland and Malinda Campbell Walker, on 24-Dec-1864 at Fountain County, Indiana. John Andrew McBroom died on 20-Jul-1907 at Indiana at age 63.

      Alva McBroom was born; died young. She was the daughter of Elam McBroom and Margaret Ann Ainsworth.

      Addison F. McBroom was born on 8-Aug-1848 at Fountain County, Indiana. He was the son of Elam McBroom and Margaret Ann Ainsworth. Addison married Emaretta Fairbanks on 16-Apr-1875 at Fountain County, Indiana. Addison F. McBroom died on 12-Aug-1881 at age 33.
