CONVENT STATION -- Craig D. Ignatuk died in Morristown on Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2007, after a long illness. He was 48.

He was a lifelong resident of Morris County and will also be remembered on Long Beach Island, where his family maintained a vacation home.

Mr. Ignatuk was a 1977 graduate of Morristown High School and had been employed by Consolidated Information Services in Allamuchy as a senior customer service representative, specializing in consumer disputes.

He was the son of the late Daniel and Adele Ignatuk, formerly of Morris Township.

Survivors include two older brothers, Wayne, of Jay, N.Y., and Jeffrey, of Killingworth, Conn. He was also the much loved brother-in-law of Donna and Heather; and the favorite uncle of nieces Amy, Sarah, Claire, Adele and Caroline.

While his disability made it increasingly difficult for him to enjoy many of life's most fundamental pleasures, his spirited resolve in the face of personal adversity was an inspiration to his family, friends, co-workers and caregivers.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made in his name to: Alliance for a Living Ocean (ALO), 528 Dock Street, Beach Haven, N.J. 08008.

Plans for a memorial gathering will be announced later this month.
