Charles William Davis and Miss Dorothy Elisabeth Conover both of Stone Ridge were united in marriage on Wednesday, September 10, at the Park Avenue M. E. Church. The officiating clergyman was the Rev. p . C. Weyant, former pastor of Trinity Church, Kingston. They were attended by Mr. and Mrs. William Frees of New York city. Following the ceremony a dinner was served at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frese. The bride was charmingly gowned in white crepe de chine and lace and carried a bouquet of bridge roses. The matron of honor was gowned in blue crepe de chine and carried pink roses. The bride is a daughter of Mrs. George P. Merryman and a grand-daughter of Judson Conover, a prominent business man of Matawan, N. J. The groom is the only son of Charles Davis of Stone Ridge, an esteemed citizen and for many years a government employe.
