ello, and welcome to Cook Family Genealogy. Thank you for taking the time to look around my website. My name is Joe Cook, and I have been researching my own family for about 20 years now. I have learned alot over the years about my Cook ancestors, and genealogy in general. Five years ago I decided to put my information on the web, and this site is the result. I have changed it's look a number of times over the years, and will probably continue to do so in the future as it never can be "just right".
ecently I have decided to mature the site from one that primarily contains the information on my Cook Ancestors, to one that contains information on all Cook Families around the world. Thats a tall order, I know, but one that can be attained. The only way for this to be achieved though, will be with the help of fellow Cook Surname Researchers like you. It's simple, really. Just go to the Forum, and contribute some bit of information about your Cook Ancestors. It could be an obituary, a query, or even a photo of Great Grandpa Cook from the Civil War! If you only have a name to go on, post a query, or just let others know you are out there by posting a hello message in the Open Discussions Board. | |
ne thing I want to stress is that everyone is welcome here. This site is for all variations of the Cook surname including Cooke, Kuch, and Koch. So far my ancestors still retain the Cook surname back to 1790, but I expect to see an "e" on the end before too many more generations back. If you happen to tie into my Cook lines, you may be interested in the many Cook Family Photos I have placed in the photo section. Most of these pictures are from the 1940s and 50s. I also have a list of fellow Cook researchers that have been immensely helpful in my quest. f you have a website that features your Cook Family, please consider joining our Cook Family Researchers WebRing. Just click on the Join Now button on the WebRing box at the bottom of this page. Then sit back and reap the benefits of increased traffic on your Cook related website. Best part of it all, it's free!
