My apologies if you have already received this - it came back as undeliverable, so I am sending it again.
I have been bashing my head against the BISSON brick wall for ages - never occured to me to look sideways at the WAKEHAM side of the same wall! Takes some of us awhile to catch on . . .
Ruth Wakeham, b. 1850, St. Peter, Jersey, is my great-grandmother. She was the daughter of Thomas Wakeham, b. May 24, 1807, Stoke Fleming Devon, son of Nicholas Wakeham and Joan___? Thomas married Ruth ___?. Other children of Thomas and Ruth were James (1839) William (1841), Elizabeth (1844), all in England, and Francis E. (1846) St. Belade, Jersey. Thomas Wakeham was a gardener, died between 1881 and 1891 in St. Helier.
