	The following are known Descendents of James Brunton and Susan Elder of Colinton,Midlothian. Their son James, born C1808 at Colinton, and his wife Lucinda McInnes born C 1807 Ross and Cromarty, married at Kintail, Ross and Cromarty in 1838 and emigrated to Australia onboard the UTOPIA, with their 4 children, arriving in 1853. and settling in the Western District of Victoria. After the death of Lucy in 1862, James married Sarah Young in 1868, no issue to this marriage.
