I am interested in knowing whether James KNEEBONE died in NSW -probably at Broken Hill, 1910 to 1920?. James was born at Eaglehawk, near Bendigo in 1881. His parents were William KNEEBONE and RosinaSIMPSON. James married Lillian DURO.

They had three children-

Gladys,

Rosina

William

all born before 1908.

I believe James went to work in the mine at Broken Hill with hisbrothers Henry and Thomas. Jame's death is not on the Victorian deathindexes, so any help on this one would be much appreciated.BestwishesChrisy Dennis in Melbourne

They had 2 children in Victoria, maybe more in Western Australiaor Broken Hill..

They were marriedin Menominee, Michigan (march 1889) but lived in Iron Mountain. Heworked (James) in the Iron Mine there. We have clues that they livedin Gwennap before they left for the US. They are listed in the 1871census Parish Gwennap; Dist 20l Sched 112. We don't when they weremarried. We do know they had 3 children that survived Minni J,Joseph, & William.
