Rosenhand



A certain Bartholomeus Mathaei, a councillor in the town of Anklam, married Anna Stäwen and had issue a son, Gregorius Mathaei, a councillor in the town of Stralsund. He married Magdalena Bolten and had a son Nikolaus Mathaei, also a councillor in the town of Stralsund. He died of the plague in 1629 and married Catharina Tessin (she died 1632). They had issue Simon Mathaei, who was ennobled Rosanhand. He was born 31 May 1613, Stralsund, died 1 April 1668. He married Catharina Regina Schlegel (she was born 9 March 1628 in Stettin, died 16 June 1663, buried 3 July 1663 Stettin). They had issue:

1. Daniel Niklas Rosenhand, born 1648, died after 1672. It is unknown if he had any issue as he was at that time a student in Germany.
2. Carl Gustaf Rosenhand born 7 July 1649, d. 12 December 1660 at Griefswald, Germany.
3. Mattias Rosenhand, died young.
4. Barbara Catharina Rosenhand, born 1 July 1653, died unmarried 1 March 1676.
5. Regina Elisabeth Rosenhand, born 1655, died a widow 8 Jan 1726, buried 26 November 1726. It is unknown whom she married.
6. Christina Magdalena Rosenhand, died 9 July 1686, buried 6 February 1687, married the County District Governor Paul Rudebeck in his first marriage (he was born 1657 and died 1711).
7. Christina Regina Rosenhand, married Gustaf Adolf Klöfverfelt in his second marriage (he died 1708.).
