Some notes:
Our first Cossette ancestor to come to Canada was Jean Cosset who arrived sometime before 1667
His children settled at Batiscan de Champlain.
The next generation settled up the Batiscan river at Ste-Genevieve-de-Batiscan
our ancestor Isidore Cossette born there, several of his children settled at Wild Rice, Dakota Territories.
