Where we SINCLAIRs started out--the Sinclair Castle in Caithness, Scotland. These photos are from a trip my parents took to Great Britain some 20 years ago.
On the back of the photo on the left, my mother wrote on the back of the photo:
"SWS stands for Sir William St. Clair, who repaired the castle. An earier Sr. William Sinclair had restored it in 1580. It dates from the thirteenth century. There is a ghost--fair Rosamund."
Mom wrote on the back of the photo on the right:
"Ruins of the watch tower. Rosslyn was one of the string of castles along the border which kept watch towers to search out possible attacks. A light in the tower was a signal picked up by the others and so a string of lights gave warning."

William ("Buzz") Stanley Sinclair, Jr., "playing" with a shark in Galveston Bay, Galveston, Texas. This is a photo from The Galveston Daily News newspaper article (July 4, 1981) about him; for a period of years, Buzz did catch live sharks for the SeaArama that once was located in Galveston. Please refer to two Galveston, TX, newspaper articles that give a bit of insight into my "Crocodile Dundee" father.
