2 CONT was a burgess for Bedford county from 1761 to 1775, and member of the conventions of 1774, 17
2 CONC 75, 1776. He was a son of Matthew Talbot, one of the first justices of Bedford county (1754)
2 CONC , who died in 1758. John Talbot married (first) Sarah Anthony, of Bedford, and (second) Pheb
2 CONC e Mosby, of Henrico. He moved to Wilks county, Georgia, in 1784. Issue: Phebe, Thomas, Matthe
2 CONC w and Mary.

2 CONT When John moved to Wilks Co., GA he served several years in the Legislature. He was a great W

2 CONC o Comem to Wilmington. Some days before when at Camp I heard by Flanders Thompson, that poo
2 CONC r John had died yet knowing the uncertainty of what he said in General I was Scrupulous of th
2 CONC e trouth of his assestion, which made me very anctious to Come & see, and if he was dead tha
2 CONC t I might take Care of his Cloaths & Examine in what manner he did die, Yet he told me in th
