This Curd Cox (another grandson of old Curd) was the son of Richardson Cox

(who went by "Wit Cox" in later years) and Nancy Conner Cox.   Curd's wife,

Nancy, was the daughter of Wm. Conner, Jr. and Sarah Cox.    This is

discussed in Bill Irwin's Conner Book.

His sons were William Henry Harrison Cox and James Madison Cox, the executors

of this will.

This Curd born 15 Jan 1817, married 23 Apr 1840, died 26 Aug 1882.   His wife

 Nancy died 28 Aug 1900.

His son, J.M. Cox, married Martha Jane Bishop; his daughter, Sarah, married

Archibald W. Bishop.   His son, William H. H. Cox, married Mary Ann Williams,

likely related to the witness Robberds Williams.

Curd Cox

 

I, Curd Cox, of Knox County Tennessee hereby revoking all other wills

heretofore made by me, do make publish and declare this as my last will and

testament.

First-

After my death I desire all my just debts and funeral expenses to be paid.

2nd-

I will and bequeath my estate real and personal to my beloved wife Nancy Cox

during her natural life.

After the death of my wife I desire that my children shall share equal in my

estate.

4th-

I hereby appoint my two sons Wm. H.H. Cox and J.M. Cox, Executors of this my

will.

In witness whereof, I have hereto set my hand and seal, this 28 day of July
