An Inventory of the personal property of Curd Cox Dec’d is as follows to wit.

            One Cupboard. 23 plaits [plates] delph. 3 dishes, 8 pitchers 2 Sugar dishes, 2 tea pots, 2 sets Tea Cups and saucers an six old saucers, 5 glass tumblers, 1 Wine Glass. 3 salt sets, 1 Glass pitcher. 3 cream mugs. 2 peper boxes. 6 bowls. 12 Glass bottles, 2 bread waiters, 5 CandleSticks, 1 pair snuffers [to put candles out?], 8 pewter plates, 2 pewter dishes. 2 pewter basins, 1 set knives & fork, 16 odd forks, 11 tableSpoons, 1 set tea spoons, 1 copper Ladle, 1 tin dipper, 1 flesh fork, 1 wash pan, 1 tin bucket, 1 copper tea Kettle, 2 coffee pots, 1 pair candle molds, 1 stone chum, 7 stone crock, 3 jars, 1 brass Cock, 1 small pair copper Scales, 1 lantern, a Small lot vial, 2 looking glasses 3 sets and Irons, 1 Bureau, 1 Clock, 3 dining tables, 20 chairs, 2 chests, 1 trunk, 5 beds, bedstead and furniture, 1 coffee Mill, 1 Man Saddle, 3 books, 3 Indian Baskets, 1 box, 1 pair Steelyards, 1 honi, 13 barsils, 2 Kegs, 1 laidStand?, 1 wooden churn, 5 Small stands, 1 flax hikkle?, 2 flax wheels, 2 cotton wheels, 1 pair Cotton cards, 2 Iron hot racks, 1 chick reel, 1 pari warping bares, 1 set spools frame, 1 hand ___, 2 Augurs, 1 trowel, 1 Iron Wedge, 4 pots, 2 Kettles, 3 ovens & lids, 1 set blacksmith tools, 1 fon horse wagon, 3 plows, 2 chopping axes, 3 hoes, 2 mattocks, 5 water vessels, 4 pad locks, 4 head horses, 3 pair farming geers, 10 head Cattle, 16 head sheep, 26 head hogs, 21 Geese and some other poultry, 1 Weaving loom and geer, a small lot nails, 4 pair pot hooks, 2 smothing [smoothing] Irons, 1 fire shovel, 3 pair shears, the corn, fodder and hay raised on the farm the present year. 1 Scythe and cradle. --- Money on hand three hundred ninety eight dollar sixteen and a half cents—Notes good—(between lines: awesome, Moon, Austin, Mirn?, Jonathan thinks in drawn. ) One aw Alexander Powell for two hundred dollars due one day after date, 3 day of January 1852.-One ow Calvin B. Hansard Tandy Bolton and Parnick George for one hundred and thirty five dollars, one day after date, dates in the 10th day of Feb. 1853.- One on Richardson Cox for seventeen dollars one day after date, dated the 18th day of January 1851.          One on Sams Heavens for three dollars fifty cents due when given dated 12th day of June 1852, notes doubtful or rather dead, one on Elvin Kirk for twenty five dollars due one month after date on the 13th day of June 1859 with a credit of twelve dollars the 15th day of June 1844.

            One share stock in the East Tennessee and Georgia Rail fifty dollars of which has been paid by Mr. Hill. ---  One note in George Graves for One hundred and twelve dollars dated the 2nd day of March 1839 and due twelve months after date.

            One note on George Graves for Eighteen dollars and twenty five cents, dated the 16th of March 1843.

            The above is a true and perfect Inventory of all the goods and chattels, rights and credit, of the said Curd Cox Dec’d which have come to our hands, possession or Knowledge or hands of any other persons for us, to the best of our Knowledge and belief, the 5th day of December 1853.
