COZINE
Dr. Winston I Cozine, 63, Kenosha, WI passed away on Thursday, September 12, 1996 in Bella Bella, British Columbia during vacation.
Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 18th from St. Mary's Lutheran Church. Interment will be provate. Friends may call at St. Mary's Lutheran Church from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m.. on Wednesday evening.
Winston was born on March 24, 1933 in Lacomb, Oregon the only son of Glenn and Leola ( Sylvester) Cozine.. He attended school in the Eugene, Oregon area. He received his Bachelor Degree from the University of Oregon - Eugene and his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Oregon Medical School in Portland. On December 21, 1957 he married his wife of nearly 39 years, the former Betty Yoder, in Portland, Oregon. His internship was served with the U.S. Public Health Service Hospital, Staten Island, New York and his residency with both the U.S. Public Health Service Hospital and Swedish Hospital, both in Seattle, Washington. A Pathologist, he was employed by the U.S. Public Health Service Hospital in New Orleans. In July, 1967 he joined the Pathology Department of Kenosha Memorial Hospital. He was currently Director of the Laboratory of Kenosha Hospital and Medical Center.
Dr. Cozine was an active member of St. Mary's Lutheran Church, having served as a member of the and President of the Church Council. He is also a former member of the Board of Directors of the St. Mary's Lutheran Endowment Foundation. Professionally, he is a member of the College of American Pathologists, the American Society of Clinical Pathologist and is Past-President of the Medical Staff of Kenosha Hospital and Medical Center.
Dr. Cozine is survived by his wife, Betty; his Mother, Leola Cozine of Eugene OR; four sons and three daughters-in-law, Michael and Cara Cozine of Kenosha, Mark and Susan Cozine of Palastine, IL, Gregory and Susan Cozine of Minneapolis, MN and John Cozine of Cincinnati, OH; a sister, Glenda Darouian of Beaverton, OR and five grandchildren, Daniel, Kelly, Jana, Marisa and Zachary Cozine. He was preceded in death by his father and sister, Mary Parkhurst.
Hensen Funeral Home is serving Dr. Cozine's family.

Robert "Bob" S. Cozine, 55, of Iowa City died Sunday, September 5,  
2010 in Princeton, IL following a heart attack.
Bob was a motocross race enthusiast. He was a gifted mechanic, "hobby" farmer, hunter and conservationist. Bob was a member of Whitetails Unlimited and the Iowa City Competition Riders. He was a regular donor and volunteer for the Mississippi Valley Blood Bank. He was a 1973 graduate of West Branch High School and received his associates degree angle any gallon from Kirkwood Community College. Bob married Theresa Naughton on May 28, 1977. Bob was also a long time Iowa Hawkeye and St. Louis Cardinal fan. Bob was a loving husband, father and brother. He was proud to become a grandfather with the arrival of Tanner.
Tracks he rode at in the 70's included Wendy Oaks, Tipton Hills, and  
Wild Country. He was with us almost every weekend since Marissa  
(daughter) started racing when she was 14. When she started racing he
was so excited to be back on the mx scene again.
He raced in the late 70's, rode a Kawasaki. He has raced or rode ever
since. Has mentored a ton of kids riding at his track too, gave advice and encouragement to them all.

Mary Argo Cozine
Age 79 Of St. Paul Passed away on January 23, 2010 at Cerenity Care Center, St. Paul, MN, after a brief illness. Preceded in death by her parents and her brother. She is survived by her children, Gary Cozine and his wife Shelly, of St. Paul, MN and Mark Cozine and his wife Deb, of Cherokee, IA; eight grandchildren, Jerud Cozine and his wife Cassy, Joshua Cozine, Katy Martin and her husband Ed Hickey, Leah Martin and her husband Jon Lane, Peter Cozine, Emily Cozine, Sarah Chiapetta and Alex Chiapetta; two great grand-children, Ethan and Anna Cozine. She is also survived by long time friend, Sylvester Meyer of St. Paul. Mary was born September 7, 1930, in Peoria, IL to Peter and Mary Argo. She had one brother, Peter Argo, also of Peoria, IL. After high school, she received a scholorship and attended college at Western Illiniois University, Macomb. There she met and married Robert Cozine of Lewistown, IL. Two children were born of that union, Gary and Mark. Mary raised her family first in Texhoma, OK, and later in Emmetsburg, IA. She moved to St. Paul in 1982. She spent the next 24 years helping others as an AA sponser, dedicating her life to mentoring people through the addiction process. In 2006, Mary fell victim to the disease of Alzheimer's. A private service will be held by the family at a future date. Memorials may be made in her name to the Alzheimer's Association . 678 Snelling Avenue South 651-698-3878.

William George Cozine entered into life Jan. 14, 1935, Lewiston, Ill. He entered into rest on Nov. 3, 2004, in Phoenix, Ariz.
The time of remembrance will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah?s Witnesses Foothills Congregation, Phoenix, Ariz.
Bill and his family moved to Eau Claire in 1967. He was a teacher and principal many years. He also was a railroad switchman and owned and operated Cozine Trucking and Excavating.
He leaves behind his wife Mable Cozine; his son William Knight Cozine; his daughter Peggy Cozine; grandchildren Ian Cozine, Kista Johnson, Christopher Burdick, Warren Cozine; and great grandchild Kayla Johnson.
He will be missed by many.

Mable Cozine  
Mable Cozine, the youngest of nine children, was gifted to Ma and Pa Burnside of Hawley, Minn., on Sept. 16, 1934. She ascended on Nov. 24, 2007.
Mable received her bachelor's degree in education from Wisconsin State University and taught at Roosevelt School in Eau Claire.
She is preceded in death by her husband, William G. Cozine.
She is survived by her children, William K. Cozine and Peggy J. Cozine; grandchildren, Jan K. Cozine, Kista S. Johnson, Christopher W. Burdick and Warren K. Cozine; siblings, Marge Olson, Alice Hoaglin, Lloyd Burnside and Orvin Burnside; great-grandchildren, Kayla L. Johnson and Madison J. Johnson.
Mable was kind and gentle, and always saw the good in people. She is dearly loved by her family and friends, and has had the love of hundreds of children.
Memorial services were held at Maryvale Chapel in Phoenix, Ariz.
