WILLIAM LEWIS COZINE, SR. SEPT. 4, 1954 - SEPT. 7, 2005 William Lewis Cozine, Sr. passed away on September 7, 2005 in Turlock of a natural death. He was a native of Riverside, CA and lived in Turlock for 33 years. He was a self employed owner and operator of Discount Statuary. He drove truck for Wallis Transport, Mel and Greg Frye and Liondocke's Trucking all of Turlock for a total of 15 years. In the mid 90's he started his own Statuary business located on Hwy 132, (Maze Blvd) and Hart Rd. He was an avid collector of Star Trek movies, loved country music, writing music and playing guitar.
William is survived by his wife Renae J. Cozine of Turlock, sons; William Cozine Jr. of Delhi, Robert Frye of Turlock and Joe Hayden of Turlock, daughter; Desiree Hayden of Turlock, brothers; Chuck Cozine of Calhoun, Missouri, Bobby Cozine and Donny Cozine of Washington, sisters; Betty Lass of Yreka, CA; grand-daughters; Heather Cozine, Candice Frye and Tiffany Riveira. William is preceded in death by his brother, George Buz Cozine and parents; Grace Eberhart and George Leroy Cozine.
Visitation will be from 2 PM-8 PM, Sept. 18, at Whitehurst, Norton & Dias Chapel, 286 West Main St, Turlock. Funeral Services 11:00 AM Sept. 19, Whitehurst, Norton & Dias Chapel. Interment 1:30 PM, Sept 19 at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery, 32053 W. McCabe Rd., Gustine, CA. Remembrances to: Ronald McDonald House, 2555 49th St., Sacramento, CA 95817
