William Crabtree I (1683-1756) and his family immigrated in 1705 from England to Kingsville, Baltimore County, Maryland. Descendants and relatives lived in Maryland, Virginia, Ohio and elsewhere. Descendants of Abram and Molly Crabtree, who had at least five children: Susan (b. ca. 1802); Neb (b. ca. 1805); Thomas (b. ca. 1810); Stephen (b. ca. 1811); and William M. (b. ca. 1812). Maine Farmhouse Journal's Crabtree Family History- History of the New England branch of the Crabtree family which settled in Massachusetts and Maine. This is most likely a seperate branch from the more numerous Crabtree branch which settled initially in Maryland and spread throughout the United States. Both branches have their roots in the same Crabtree progenitors in Yorkshire, England, but likely descend from seperate Crabtree immigrants to the United States.
