The Universe- Symbolic Analysis

http://archetypalmind.wordpress.com/2011/07/23/sarcophagus-judgement-symbolic-analysis/

“…each mind/body/spirit complex shall and should and, indeed, must perceive each archetype, if you use this convenient term, in its own way. Therefore, you may see that precision is not the goal; rather the quality of general concept complex perception is the goal.”- Ra, Session 77

Key Observations

  • The female plays the instrument with ease if it is well tuned.
  • The left hand strokes the three-stringed instrument perhaps representing how the spirit plays the experiences of life like a melody, plucking each string of mind body and soul in perfect harmony. The spirit plays our heart like strings. More and more aware of how the spirit plays in our life.
  • The instrument has three strings, head of a man. The crown strongly resembles the one worn by one of the male images being tossed from the tower in the potentiator of the spirit and significator of the mind images. This particular head piece represents the unification of male and female energy. The a balanced and tuned active instrument for the spirit to play. Perhaps the configuration suggests that the mind, if properly oriented, sits beneath the strings of the heart being played by the spirit. The instrument, allows the spirit to be conductor and musician. The job of the instrument is to stay tuned, focused and ready to be played.
  • The serpents are repeated at the brow of the head of the instrument and the very top of the
  • The 12 flowered sun circle symbol contains repeated imagery from the other spirit cycle cards in anew configuration.
  • The bird soars upward, directly overhead. The bird symbolism has returned from the mind cycle.

Great Way of the Spirit

Session 80Questioner: Then I would guess that the twenty-first archetype would represent contact with intelligent infinity. Is that correct?

Ra: I am Ra. This is correct, although one may also see the reflection of this contact as well as the contact with intelligent energy which is the Universe or, as you have                          called it somewhat provincially, the World

“Let us for a moment consider thought. What is it, my friends, to take thought? Took you then thought today? What thoughts did you think today? What thoughts were part of the original thought today? In how many of your thoughts did the creation abide? Was love contained? And was service freely given? You are not part of a material universe. You are part of a thought. You are dancing in a ballroom in which there is no material. You are dancing thoughts. You move your body, your mind, and your spirit in somewhat eccentric patterns for you have not completely grasped the concept that you are part of the original thought.”

- Ra, Session 1

The Seed of Life

The “Seed of Life” is formed from seven circles being placed with sixfold symmetry, forming a pattern of circles and lenses, which act as a basic component of the Flower of Life’s design.

The Seed of Life is a symbol depicting the seven days of creation in which the Judeo-Christian God created life; Genesis 2:2-3, Exodus 23:12, 31:16-17, Isaiah 56:6-8. The first day is believed to be the creation of the Vesica Piscis, then the creation of the Tripod of Life on the second day, followed by one sphere added for each subsequent day until all seven spheres construct the Seed of Life on the sixth day of Creation. The seventh day is the day of rest, known as the “Sabbath” or “Shabbat.”

In the 13th century, a Cabalist group from France succeeded, through geometric interpretation, in dividing the entire Hebrew alphabet into an order using the Seed of Life. The resulting alphabet was remarkably similar to that of the Religious sage Rashiwho wrote his commentaries on the Old Testament at that time in France.[Wikipedia.com]
