I come from a small country far to the east. I remember taking
walks down to the pier. We lived close to the ocean and I was drawn to the
sea. There were small Islands off the coast I used to visit. The people there
were very nice. Now I am far away on a search for my lost relatives who are
descendants of our ancient heritage. I have been sent to find them because
there is to be a great gathering among our people. Long ago they were lost
and their fathers have long forgotten their origins. My journeys have taken
me to distant lands among strange people and yet, many of those whom I seek
were found among them.
Many of those who I found, were not what I expected, and I have
had to learn to readjust my thinking. But now, at last, I'm going home. I
have walked many miles on foot. I can't wait to see my family. I have so many
fond memories of my hometown. But I'm almost home now and I know my family is
waiting.
