To Deed        {State of Louisiana = Parish of Union
F.G. Simonton  {Know all men by these Presents that
I Nanem Curlee of the State and parish aforesaid hereby
            Acknowledge and declare and make known that
            I have this day bargained and Sold and by these
            presents bargain sell transfer and deliver unto
            Felix G. Simonton a resident of the State aforesaid
            and Parish of Jackson Co of my rights, title 
            and Claimin and to the following described lands
            (to wit) The North East quarter of the south East quarter
            of Section thirty three, and the south West quarter of
            the South West quarter of Section thirty four in township
            Nineteen north of Range one west Containing
            Seventy nine 52/100 acres the north west quarter
            of the south West quarter of Section Thirty four
            in Township Nineteen west of Range one
            West Containing Forty acres and 5/100 of an
            acre.  For and in Consideration of the
            sum of Four hundred and eighty Dollars to me
            in hand paid the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged
            unto him the said Felix G. Simonton his heirs and
            assigns for his and their use and benefit to have and
            to hold the same forever.  In testimony whereof I the said
            Namen Curlee have hereunto Subscribed my name
            together with the Said Felix G. Simonton in the
            Presents of A.D. McDuffee and W.F. Carleton good
            and lawfull witnesses on this the 5th day of
            September, 1866.           Namen X Curlee

State of Louisiana {Before me the undersigned
Parish of Union    {legal authority, personally
            Came and Appeared A.D. McDuffee a witness to the 
            witness Deed who after being duly sworn by me Sayes
            that he saw the Vendor & vendee to the within Deed
            Sign the Same, (the vendor signing by making
            his ordinary mark) and that he signed it himself
            as a witness and saw his Cowitness sign it and
            that all the signatures thereto are geniune
            Sworn to and subscribed before
            me this the 2nd day of October AD } A.D. McDuffee
