 LAND DEED OF RANDOLPH CURLEE  

RANDOLPH (R.M.) CURLEE FROM MARTHA W KENDALL
OCTOBER 7 1865 AND APRIL  6 1868

Martha W Kendall { State of Louisiana = Parish of Union
Deed Land             { This indenture - Made and entered into this Oct 7th
R M Curlee            { A D 1865 Between Martha W Kendall of the first 
Part,  and Randolph Curlee of the second part, witnesseth,
that for and in consideration of the sum of two Hundred 
dollars in hand to him paid the receipt Whereof is hereby 
acknowledged: the said Martha W. Kendall doth grant 
bargain and sell and by Those presence hath granted 
bargained and sold Unto the aforesaid, party of the second
and unto his heirs and assigns, forever, A track of 
land described as follows, viz: The S.W. gr of the N.E qr 
of Section No 19 Township No 19 of Range one West, containing Forty 
acres & sixty two hundredths 40 62/100 & the NW gr of the N E qr of Section 
No 19 Township No 19 Of Range One West containing forty acres 
& 62/100 Sixty two hundredths 40 62/100 together with singular The appur
tances showeth belonging or in any wise Showeth appertaining 
together with all the estate, right, Titles, interest claims or 
demand, whatever of him in Land Or Equity are hereby secured 
unto the aforesaid party of The Second part in the above 
bargained:  In Witness whereof the parties together with the 
undersigned Witnesses have hereinto set their names 
& affixed their seals On this day of Oct AD 1865.

State of Louisiana {  Before me the undersigned legal
Parish of Union     { authority personally came and appeared
John S. Tipton one of the subscribing witnesses to the
written deed who after being duly sworn by me sayes
that he Saw the parties to Said act - sign the same
for the purposes therein mentioned, and that he signed 
it Himself as a witness, and Saw his Cowitness
Sign it & that all the Signatures thereto are
genuine (the undersigning by making his mark)

		I believe the above land is part of the land that belonged to Lucinda
		Davis CURLEE from her mother, Nancy KENT Davis estate.
		The following is part of the land that Lucinda's brother bought, and it  
		is almost the same description, the same Township(19) and Range(1 West),
		Lucinda's was in Section 19 and Francis Marion's in Sections 29-32-33,
		but I believe they joined.

		A track of land described as follows, viz: The S.W. gr of the N.E qr of 
		Section No 19 Township No 19 of Range one West, containing Forty acres & 
		sixty two hundredths 40 62/100 & the NW gr of the N E qr of Section No 19 
		Township No 19 Of Range One West containing forty acres & 62/100 Sixty two 
		hundredths 40 62/100

		Nancy KENT Davis Land that FRANCES MARION Davis bought:
		tract or parcel of land thus described The SW 1/4 of NE 1/4 and W 1/2 of 
		SE 1/4 and SE 1/4 and NW 1/4 and E 1/2 of SW 1/4 and SW 1/4 of SW 1/4 of 
		Section 29 Township nineteen north of R. one west and the NW 1/4 of NW 1/4 
		of Section 32 Township nineteen north of Range 2 west and the SW 1/4 of 
		SW 1/4 of Section 33, of Township nineteen north of Range 1 west in all 
		360 acres more or less being and lying in the Parish of Union La
