Hugh FORDYCE ⁽⁴⁷⁾ was born in 1527 in Drumasole, County Antrim, Ireland. ⁽⁴⁷⁾ Hugh's father possibly came from Ayrshire in Scotland He was married to Mary COYNINGHAM on 3 Jul 1552 in Antrim, Ireland. ⁽⁴⁷⁾ The family came over to Ireland from Scotland in the wave of Scots Presbyterian wave in the mid 1500s. Hugh was born in Ireland but Mary was from Ayrshire. The Fordyces later fell afoul of the Anglican English and moved on to America.

10881. Mary COYNINGHAM⁽⁴⁷⁾ was born in Kilbirnie, County Ayr, Scotland.⁽⁴⁷⁾ Children were:

i. Mary FORDYCE⁽⁴⁷⁾.
ii. Sarah FORDYCE⁽⁴⁷⁾.
