Welcome to my website containing over twenty years of research into my genealogy.
My first researches took place in Greene County, Pennsylvania, where my ancestors were among the first settlers in the late 1700s. Those ancestors arrived in Western Pennsylvania from colonial New Jersey, New York, and Massachusetts.
I've traced my people back to Europe on several points, from Governor John Endicott in Massachusetts to Dutch-born Anthony Jansen van Salee, who emigrated from Morocco, where his father held court as the pirate Murat Reis.
My ancestry is predominantly English, with bits of Welsh and Irish, a good selection of German, and some Dutch.
