Passengers arriving at Port Adelaide February 1851 aboard Slains Castle
known by other names in both the Argus and Mr Whitby's lists.
Mr. Wm. Blackley and wife are actually Mr. and Mrs Joseph Blackeby and
Mr. Decreon & wife are in fact Mr. and Mrs Firmin Deacon, parents Firmin.W. Deacon who is listed as Mr W. Deacon.
Both these families are mentioned in local newspapers in following years. Records can be found in the newspaper records on "Trove". The Deacon's later went to Victoria and Mrs Esther/Hester Blackeby apparently returned to the UK where she died.
