The History Of The Ringer Family
I have very little information on the Ringer Family
starting with Francis Ringer to the present day(2019).
this family ties in with the Cummings family through the marriage
of Mary Brown Pope, to Carl E Cummings,Jr.
This is in progress and any help would be appreciated.

1. English Francis Ringer [153] [153] was born about 1815.
General Notes: said to be buried in Elmwood Ceme., Columbia, SC in an unmarked
grave
English married James Mar Rutland [152] [MRIN: 60], son of Thomas Rutland [3559] and Sarah Ann Mar [3560]. James was born on 6 May 1814, died on 17 Apr 1874 at age 59, and was buried in Laurelwood Ceme., Rock Hill, SC.
Children from this marriage were:
+ 2 M i. Sheridan Ragsdelle Rutland [65] [65] was born on 1 Aug 1856 in South Carolina, died on 13 May 1932 in Fairfield County, SC at age 75, and was buried in Greenbriar Methodist Church Cemetery, Greenbrier, SC.
+ 3 M ii. William Frederick Rutland [3550] [3550] was born on 2 Feb 1858, died on 19 Sep 1940 in Rion, Fairfield County, SC at age 82, and was buried in Greenbrier Methodist Church Cemetery, Greenbrier, SC.
4 M iii. Warren H Rutland [3558] [3558] was born in 1860.
General Notes: robbed and killed in Newbury en route to Texas during the
Reconstruction period after Civil War
