The Rams must have been surprised. The Patriots were not supposed to be ahead,
not at the half. They must have been thinking
What happened???
Then there was the fourth quarter. They tied it up. I knew it was too good
to be true. John Madden then said some almost unbelievable things on TV. At
least Tom Brady did hear him, and didn't pay any arttention. Madden said that
the Pats should play for position in overtime. Yeah, there was only two
minutes left,
but so what?
Tom must have seen
John Elway
conduct The Drive. (I knew Elway was good before the Drive; afterward I was
amazed, and thought he was the best). The ball crossed the uprights with two
seconds left. Celebration time.

I was surprised. Drew Bledsoe is one of the great quarterbacks and I thought
their season was done for when he was injured at the beginning of the season.
I didn't think Tom Brady would be sooo good. If there were any doubts, he
removed them during this game. In the pre-game show they said that Mark Warner
would be made the MVP by an almost unamious vote. I don't like those kind of
announcements
before
the fact. Tom richly deserves the MVP.

I was watching mainly for the commercials. I thought, before the game, that
might be the most interesting part of it all. The kneeling horses, from
Budweiser, was the best IMHO.
