He married Sarah Margaret Ferguson at Westminister Abbey, Westminister, London, England, 23 July 1986.(384) Sarah was born on Welbect Street, London, Middlesex, England 15 Oct 1959. Sarah is the daughter of Major Ronald Ivon Ferguson and Susan Mary Wright. She became engaged to Andrew Albert Christian Edward Windsor Tayside, Forfarshire, Scotland, 22 February 1986.(385) The announcement of the engagement was postponed until 10 a.m. on 19 March 1986. It is said that Sarah, upon accepting the proposal, told Andrew 'If you wake up tomorrow morning, thinking better of it, you can tell me it's all a huge joke.' He didn't.

At 28 years of age Sarah became the mother of Beatrice Elizabeth Mary Windsor 8 August 1988. At 30 years of age Sarah became the mother of Eugenie Victoria Helena Windsor London, Middlesex, England, 23 March 1990.(386) Sarah was divorced from Andrew Albert Christian Edward Windsor Westminister, London, England, 1996. She resided in Sunninghill, Surrey, England from 1997 to May 2002.(387) She was a spokesperson for Weight Watchers, making numerous TV commercials and personal appearances.

One of Sarah's occupations in 2000 to 2001 was as a spokesperson for Schawb's Financial Services. She made a T.V. commercial which spoofed her life. She related a bedtime fairy story to a girl supposally her daughter, in which a damsel meets her prince, he takes her to live in his castle, and they live happily ever after. She then adds 'and if they don't live happily ever after...' you need Schawb's services.

child 70 i. Beatrice Elizabeth Mary6 Windsor was born 8 August 1988. She was christened by Dr. John Habgood, archbishop of York, into the Church of England, at the Chapel Royal, St. James Palace, London, Middlesex, England, on 20 December 1988.(394) Beatrice wore a cream lace robe first worn by the future Edward VII at his christening, and worn by all the royals since then. She was baptized with waters from the River Jordan, and with a 1840 silver gilt lily font made for the christening of Victoria the Princess Royal.

Peter Nott, bishop of Norwich, at St. Mary Magdalen Church, in Sandringham, Norfolk, on 23 December 1990.(396) She was the first royal child to be baptized at a public service in more than a century.
