Angus is the son of David Lyulph Gore Wolseley Ogilvy 5th Earl of Airlie and Lady Alexandra Marie Bridget Coke. At 35 years of age Angus became the father of James Robert Bruce Ogilvy in Richmond Park, Surrey, 29 February 1964.⁽²⁹¹⁾ Angus became Helen Marina Lucy Windsor's godfather at her christening Windsor, Berkshire, England, 6 June 1964.⁽²⁹²⁾ At 37 years of age Angus became the father of Marina Victoria Alexandra Ogilvy in Richmond Park, Surrey, 31 July 1966.⁽²⁹³⁾
