20. Hon. Gerald David⁴ Lascelles (Victoria Alexandra Alice Mary³ Wipple, George Frederick Ernest Albert² Hanover, Albert Edward¹ Wettin) was born Knaresborough, Yorkshire 21 August 1924.⁽²³⁶⁾ Gerald died 27 February 1998 in Les Croux, Monbazillac, Sigoules, France, at 73 years of age.⁽²³⁷⁾

He married twice. He married Angela Estree Dowding Westminister, London, England, 15 July 1952.⁽²³⁸⁾ Angela was born in Hanwell, England on 20 April 1919.⁽²³⁹⁾ Angela is the daughter of Charles Dowding and Lilian Lawlor. At 34 years of age Angela became the mother of Henry Ulick Lascelles London, Middlesex, England, 19 May 1953.⁽²⁴⁰⁾ Angela was divorced from Hon. Gerald David Lascelles in July 1978.⁽²⁴¹⁾ He married Elizabeth Evelyn Collingwood in Vienna, Austria, on 17 November 1978.⁽²⁴²⁾ Elizabeth was born in Wimbledon on 23 April 1924.⁽²⁴³⁾ Elizabeth is the daughter of Sydney Collingwood and Charlotte Oughterson. At 37 years of age Elizabeth became the mother of Martin David Lascelles London, Middlesex, England, 9 February 1962.⁽²⁴⁴⁾ Elizabeth's occupation is as an actress.⁽²⁴⁵⁾

He was christened into the Church of England, at St Mary's Church, Goldesborough, near Knaresborough, Yorkshire, on 4 October 1924.⁽²⁴⁶⁾ At 28 years of age Gerald became the father of Henry Ulick Lascelles London, Middlesex, England, 19 May 1953.⁽²⁴⁷⁾ He bought Fort Belvedere, Great Park, Windsor, Berkshire, England, in 1956.⁽²⁴⁸⁾ This was the home of his uncle, the then duke of Windsor when he was prince of Wales and later as king. He kept it until 1976 when he sold it to Mohamed Al Fayed, an Arab buisenman living in London. It was rumored that Mr. Fayed intended to give the property to his son Dodi upon his expected marriage to Diana Spencer, the Princess of Wales.
