all taken December 1986

In December 1986, the little railway station at Maiden Newton, on the Castle Cary to Weymouth line,  had a superb atmosphere. It had all the trimmings, semaphore signals, token apparatus, signal box, lineside telegraph poles and trains. Most of this has now gone, save the trains.
