Dad Company A, 14th Coastal Artillery Battery, Fort Warden, WA.

This photo hangs in the Fort Warden, Port Townsend, WA Military Museum. The date on the photo reads 1932. In 1997 I visited this museum and requested a copy of it.

It just so happens that the Officer standing in front of the Company formation is standing in front of Dad. I cut and pasted a portion out of the photo showing Dad, as shown on the right. I also gave the Officer a hair cut, so as to get a better look at Dads facial features.

This photo was taken on the cliff behind West Secondary, Port Townsend, WA. The body of water behind the children is the "Strait of Juan Fuca." Behind the boy on the left you can faintly see a ship over his left shoulder out in the Strait.

This photo was taken at 1033 Van Ness Ave, Port Townsend, WA. prior to my birth 17 May 1932. You can observe that Mom is pregnant with me. I also found a copy of the 1932 Port Townsend City Directory and it stated that this is the address where the folks lived. In 1997 I also took a picture of this house.
