Dale Kids Aging
My Retirement Party 16 May 1992
from Consolidated Freightways
The first photo shows my grandson Nathaniel Finch at the
refreshment table checking out the cake.
The second photo is of the certificate for twenty years of
service. They gave me this with a twenty year of service ruby ring even
though I was only there for eighteen years. I started to work for
Consolidated Freightways in May of 1974 after working for twenty-three years
in Loveland, Colorado at Johnson Litho.
The third photo is of me punching the time clock for the
final time.

Dale's Camp out May 1993.
The four Dale brothers with their wives and our sister Mary Jane. No one drowned on
this trip either, although it rained a lot.
To elaborate a little on that statement, Richard, Lloyd and I with our families were at
this camp ground one other time. JoAnn, Richards wife went rafting along the bank of the
river. She took Nathaniel, my daughter Paula Finch son, with her. While they were at the
bank, JoAnn slipped and fell into the river while holding Nathaniel. They got out OK, but
for a long time, Nathaniel would say to anyone that would listen, "JoAnn downed
me."
Jess and Karen Dale flew in and we met them at the airport. John and Rosie drove in
from MT.
Back row left to right; Betty Lou, Lloyd's wife; sister Mary Jane; Phyllis June, Paul's
wife; JoAnn, Richard's wife; Rosie Marie, Johns wife.
Front row left to right; Lloyd, Paul, Richard, John.

Genealogy Album
This image of myself was drawn by a Mr. Weaver while I was
recuperating from heart bypass surgery 16 March 1995. This man was good at his artistic abilities. The next image is of
himself and his doctor that he made from memory and gave it to me.
If this procedure was available in 1959 for my father he would have been
alive for as long as my mom most likely. This is a generic disease that both
my father and I have, it is called hardening of the arteries.
I appear then as I do
now.
The x-ray of my heart shows the blockage of the
arteries on the exterior of the heart where I received a total of four
bypasses, they are outlined by a circle. |
