John Holmgren
Remembers 9/11

Have you heard about the trucker who has painted his cab and trailer with the names of all those who lost their lives on 9/11?

The trucker's name is John Holmgren from Shafer, Minn. He has been 'pulled over' numerous times just so the troopers can get their picture taken with the truck. Click on the images to view larger picture.

Bio used at time of this 50th reunion reads as follows:

Since graduation: Enlisted in the USAF May 31 1952, served six years. Married June 24 1961. Started work in Graphics Art Trade in 1958 for Forney Arc Welders, Fort Collins, CO. Jobs in the trade include; Linotype Operator, Pressman, Bindery Supervisor, Cameraman. Later ended up as a Stripper, that should raise some eyebrows. Retired from Consolidated Freightways, Portland OR Print Shop on May 17 1992.

Hobbies before physical limitations set in were Golf and Bowling. My free time is now spent on Genealogy.

On the 15 June 2003 the 5 Dale brothers and other family members and friends of Alice Leonard traveled to Loveland, CO from all areas of this country to celebrate Alice's 100th birthday as described in the foregoing newspaper article.

To Phyllis amazement, here I am getting a peck on the cheek by my oldest granddaughter Jenny.

After this kiss, I must have gotten a bit warm, note that my shirt is unbutton as a cooling effect.

2005

Dale/Brown 2005 Family Gathering
This year we met in MT at John and Rosie house. Pictured shown on the lower right of the 2006 Calendar. Glen got ill and had to return home. Glen passed away later that year 11 Aug. 2005 of Cancer, along with four others of this family.
