[1811-1887] – LDS leader
His wife Sarah accused The Prophet, Joseph Smith, of trying to seduce her while Pratt was on a mission to the British Isles. This led to a rift between Pratt and Smith. Pratt was disciplined and excommunicated August 20, 1842. Some months later, he reconciled with Smith and requested re-baptism. Pratt was reinstated in the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles on January 20, 1843.
PRATT, Parley Parker
[1807-1857] – LDS leader
An original member of Quorum of the Twelve Apostles from 1835 until his murder in 1857. Having explored, surveyed, built and maintained the first road for public transportation there, scenic Parley's Canyon in Salt Lake City, was named in his honor.

[1907-1995] – American businessman, state governor (MI)
He was an American businessman and Republican Party politician. He was chairman of American Motors Corporation from 1954 to 1962, the 43rd Governor of Michigan from 1963 to 1969, and the United States Secretary of Housing and Urban Development from 1969 to 1973. He is the father of former Governor of Massachusetts Mitt Romney and the husband of former Michigan U.S. Senate candidate Lenore Romney. WIKI wiki:
