447. John Andrew Geyer was born in 1816 in Ohio.⁽¹⁰⁴⁹⁾ He appeared on the census in 1820 in home of parent. He appeared on the census in 1850 in Cardington Township, Morrow County, Ohio. He appeared on the census in 1880 in Tully Township, Van Vert County, Ohio. The family name is listed as Gear. He died in West somewhere. Family tradition suggests that he had descendants in Texas.

He was married to Mary Bolinger (daughter of Peter Bolinger and Sarah Horn) on 10 Jul 1848 in Morrow County, Ohio.⁽¹⁰⁵⁰⁾ Mary Bolinger was born about 1830 in Ohio. She appeared on the census in 1850 in home of spouse. She resided about 1880 in Van Wert County, Ohio.⁽¹⁰⁵¹⁾ John Andrew Geyer and Mary Bolinger had the following children:
