Note on Husband: Vincent Littlewood ROBERTS (1)
The oocupiers of 35 Bradway Road, where Vincent died in an air raid shelter, were John and Irene Hill. They were also witnesses to Vincent's will dated 24th July 1940.
Vincent requested in his will to be buried "in Ecclesall Church Cemetary, Sheffield alongside my forst wife Ellen Cundy Roberts". However the church index has him buried in the family tomb alongside his infant son John Shearwood Roberts and his second wife Helen". There may have been a confusion between the two names, as Helen's burial was the most recent, it was wartime, and Ellen's grave may not have been known.22
Note on Husband: Vincent Littlewood ROBERTS (2)
Vincent was in partnership with Arthur Warburton as physicians and surgeons at Chippingham House, Attercliffe, Sheffield as Roberts and Warburton. The partnership was dissolved by mutual consent on 31st January 1892. Vincent carried on this practice.23
Note on Wife: Helen FAIRBURN
She is buried next to her infant son John Shearwood Roberts in his tomb. See photograph.18
