David is buried in a tomb in the churchyard of Dore Parish Church, Christ Church. The inscription on the monument reads "David Littlewood Boyd Dearly Beloved son of Stanley Boyd and Edith Haywood Roberts Born July 29th 1918 Died February 19th 1919 For of such is the Kingdom of Heaven".5
