Obituary* | Summerside, Prince County, Prince Edward Island, Canada; Miss Margaret M. Green, daughter of the late Mr Harry C Green, passed away at the residence of her sister, Mrs Holden C Mills, at Summerside on Saturday morning, after an illness of only four days, having, in her noble calling, laid down her life for others. Had she lived until today (Tuesday) she would have been 54 years of age. For many years she had been a nurse in the United States, having graduated in Philadelphia, but returned three years ago. Whilst nursing a severely afflicted family during the influenza epidemic she herself contracted the disease and, being in a run down condition through her great energy and solicitude for other sufferers, never rallied. Her death has caused the first break in a family of nine, the surviving brothers and sisters left to mourn being Mrs James M Clark of Pittsfield Mass; Miss Eleanor, Matron of the Lebanon Sanatorium, Pennsylvania; Mr F W Green, of St Paul, Minn; Mr Herbert Green, manager of the Bank of Nova Scotia at Digby, NS; Mrs Holden C Mills and Mrs W B Mills, of Summerside; Mrs Gertrude Jones, of St Eleanors, and Miss Sarah at home. The funeral took place on Sunday afternoon to St John's Cemetery at St Eleanors, Rev C de Wolfe White officiating, and was largely attended.; Late Parent=Harry Compton Green, Sibling=Frances Ann Green, Sibling=Eleanor Ellis Green, Sibling=Frederick William Green, Sibling=Herbert R.
