Death Comes to Mrs. Cowan

Funeral Services To Be At 1 P. M. Today At Moon Cemetery

 

Mrs. Mamie Mariah COWAN, 28, of 404 First Street, Dallas, died at the Huntsville Hospital Friday night at 7:20 o’clock, following a lingering illness.

 

Funeral services will be held this afternoon at 1 o’clock at Moon Cemetery, with the Rev. P. W. BROWN officiating.  Burial will follow there, with Laughlin-Service in charge of arrangements.

 

Surviving are the husband, Duke COWAN; one son, James Earl COWAN, at home; one daughter, Mary Jo COWAN, at home; parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. T. CARPENTER; one brother, Robert CARPENTER, New Hope; and five sisters, Mrs. Herbert CRAFT, Mrs. Gordon COWAN and Mrs. Lonnie CLARK, of Owens Cross Roads, Mrs. John STEPHENS, Collinsville, and Miss Evelyn CARPENTER, Owens Cross Roads.
