Mr. Patterson
Funeral services for Manning Loew [Lowe] PATTERSON, 79, were today at Cave
Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Roy STONE officiating.
Burial was in Moon Cemetery, Owens Cross Roads with
Butler Brothers Funeral Service of New Hope directing. Mr. Patterson died at Fifth Avenue Hospital
yesterday morning.
Survivors include his wife, Pollie PATTERSON; three
sons, Pat PATTERSON and Ralph PATTERSON, Owens Cross Roads and William
PATTERSON, U. S. Air Force; six daughters, Mrs. Dewey MAPLES, Mrs. James MAPLES,
Mrs. Cecil HOPKINS, Mrs. James ELKINS of Owens Cross Roads and Mrs. Oscar
WORLEY of Bessemer and Mrs. Thelma PATTERSON of Huntsville; two brothers, Paul
PATTERSON and John PATTERSON of Owens Cross Roads; a sister, Mrs. Kate MOON of
Huntsville; 14 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Mr. Patterson’s nephews were pallbearers.

OWENS CROSS ROADS – Mrs. Pallie Ann PATTERSON, 86, of
Rt. 1, Owens Cross Roads, died Wednesday at Huntsville Hospital. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at the
Cave Springs Baptist Church.
Survivors include three sons, Pat PATTERSON and Ralph
PATTERSON, both of Owens Cross Roads, and W. E. PATTERSON, Huntsville; six
daughters, Miss Thelma PATTERSON, Owens Cross Roads, and Mrs. Mamie MAPLES,
Mrs. Eula WORLEY, Mrs. Dorothy ELKINS, Mrs. Evelyn HOPKINS and Mrs. Virviga
MAPLES, all of New Hope; a sister, Mrs. Bessie MANN, Huntsville; 15
grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
