Funeral services for Mrs. Nellie Ida WORLEY, 65, of 3411 Seventh Ave., SW, who died this morning at Huntsville Hospital, will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. from Cave Springs Baptist Church, with the Rev. John HUNT Officiating.

 

Burial will follow in Moon Cemetery.

 

Survivors include the husband, Alvie WORLEY; a daughter, Mrs. Catherine SANDERS; five sons, Gordon WORLEY, Allen WORLEY, Lester WORLEY, George W. WORLEY and Alvie WORLEY Jr.; three sisters, Mrs. Jeff MAPLES, Mrs. Manila JONES and Mrs. George DUNN; two brothers, O. L. LYONS and David LYONS; and a number of grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

 

Grandsons and nephews will serve as pallbearers.  Laughlin-Service Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.

Alvie Lester Worley

 

Alvie Lester WORLEY, 78, 3511 Seventh Ave., died Friday at his home.

 

A funeral will be today at 2 p.m. at the Cave Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Roy STONE officiating.  Burial will be in Moon Cemetery.

 

Mr. Worley was a lifelong resident of Madison County and had been an employee of the county for 18 years.

 

Survivors are four sons, George W. WORLEY of Gadsden, Gordon Allen WORLEY and Alvie WORLEY of Huntsville and Lester WORLEY of Gary, Ind.; a daughter, Mrs. Catherine SANDERS; a sister, Mrs. Maria WORLEY of Owens Cross Roads; a brother, Lee WORLEY of Huntsville, and 15 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

 

Pallbearers will be C. C. JONES, Lloyd McLEMORE, James PRICE and Robert ALVERSON.
