Kennedy Funeral Is Due Tomorrow

Services For Resident Of Owens Cross Roads Will Be Held At Home

 

Funeral services for Mrs. L. K. KENNEDY, who died this morning at 6 o’clock at her hone at Owens Cross Roads, will be held from the residence at 1 o’clock tomorrow afternoon, with the Rev. M. MANDERSON officiating.

 

Burial will be in Moon Cemetery, with Butler Brothers Funeral Home directing arrangements.

 

Active pallbearers will be her nephews, Carlos COBB, Floyd COBB, James KENNEDY, Cowan IKARD, William Elbert COBB, Shelby RICH Jr.

 

Honorary pallbearers will be the following: Mrs. Walter SOLOMAN, Mrs. Henry SMITH, Mrs. Cora BAKER, Mrs. Pearl CRAFT, Mrs. Mamie MOON, Mrs. Mae MAPLES, Mrs. Mose CRAFT, Mrs. John SNEAD.

 

Surviving are the husband; two daughters, Mamie KENNEDY and Mira KENNEDY, at home; one son, Glenn KENNEDY, at home; two sisters, Mrs. Clarence BRIDGEMAN, Huntsville, and Mrs. J. K. IKARD, Madison.

 

Two brothers, J. D. COBB, New Hope, and John NEWTON, Huntsville; the father, John William COBB, Owens Cross Roads; three half-sisters, Mrs. Charley HERRIN, New Hope, Mrs. Robert PITTS, Madison; Mrs. Ernest PITTS, Huntsville; one half-brother, Sidney M. COBB, Owens Cross Roads.
