Katie Burton Maples

 

Mrs. Katie Burton Maples WILLIAMS, 88, of 8904 Strong Drive, died Sunday at a local hospital.  The funeral will be Tuesday at 3 p.m. at Laughlin-Service Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. John HOGAN and the Rev. Jerry PARVIN officiating.

 

Burial will be in Moon Cemetery.  Mrs. Williams was a lifelong member of the Baptist Church.

 

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Marion C. FOLKERS of Owens Cross Roads; a son, James C. WILLIAMS of Huntsville; a brother, Fred MAPLES of Texas; six sisters, Mrs. Lucille BOSTICK, Mrs. Katherine ZEANAH, Mrs. Carrie KILPATRICK, Mrs. Ruby STRONG and Mrs. Delia JENKINS, all of Huntsville, and Mrs. Fannie Sue JONES of Decatur; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

A funeral for Willie Gordon WILLIAMS, 80, of 8904 Strong Drive SE, who died Sunday at a local Hospital, was to be today at 1:30 p.m. at Laughlin-Service Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Roy STONE and the Rev. E. L. SMOTHERS officiating.  Burial will be in Moon Cemetery.

 

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Kate Maples WILLIAMS; a son, James Gordon WILLIAMS; daughter Mrs. Marion FALKERS of Mobile; two sisters, Miss Mogie WILLIAMS and Mrs. Walter HUGHES; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

 

Pallbearers are Thomas HUGHES, James Dennis HUGHES, David Wayne WILLIAMS, Donald Edward WILLIAMS, Roy E. WEBSTER, and Maples MOON.
