Rites Held Today For Mrs. Baker, 70
Funeral services for Mrs. Rosa Lee Cobb BAKER, 70,
of Huntsville, Route 5, were held today at 10 a.m. from the Presbyterian Church
at Hobbs Island with the Rev. W. D. HART and Rev. Henry BRANUM officiating.
Burial was in Baker Cemetery at Owens Cross Roads,
with Laughlin-Service funeral home in charge.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Connie
McDONALD of Birmingham and Mrs. James MILAM of Huntsville; six sons, Odell
BAKER, Randall BAKER, Eugene BAKER and Thurman BAKER, all of Hobbs Island,
Lester BAKER of New Hope, and Charlie BAKER of Gadsden; two step-sons, Harry
BAKER of Guntersville and Bert BAKER of Huntsville; two sisters, Mrs. Myrtle
RABY of Harvest and Mrs. J. W. COBB of Huntsville; one brothers, Gordon COBB of
Norfolk, Va.; 29 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
Active pallbearers were the grandsons, C. O. BAKER,
Howard BAKER, Robert BAKER, Rev. Bernard BAKER, James BAKER and W. C. BAKER.
