Wreck
Kills Huntsvillian
A
Huntsville man was killed and eight other persons were injured Sunday morning
in a two-car collision 10 miles south of Huntsville on U. S. 431.
Fatally
injured was Ernie Thomas BAKER, 41, whose address was listed as 1013 Washington
St.
A
funeral for Mr. Baker will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Cave Springs Baptist
Church, Brother Fred STEWART officiating.
Burial will be in Baker Cemetery at Owens Cross Roads. The body will lie in state at the church one
hour before the service.
Survivors
are two sons, Jerry BAKER and Ronnie BAKER of Taft, Tenn.; his mother, Mrs.
Bessie Baker PHILLIPS of Hayti, Mo.; his father, Robert P. BAKER of Huntsville,
and five brothers, Olan BAKER and James BAKER of New Hope, Jack BAKER of
Auburndale, Fla., Frederick Lee BAKER of Huntsville and Herman BAKER of New
Orleans.
Active
pallbearers will be Wayne MANLEY, Billy RAY, Fred BAKER, Luther BAKER, James
BAKER, and Henry MARTIN.
The
body will remain at Laughlin-Service Funeral Home until time for the funeral.
